CANCELLED: Tulare Astronomical Association’s monthly ‘Members Only’ Star Party

The stars may be aligned, but the weather is not. I regret to announce the cancellation of tonight’s (Saturday, April 11, 2026) TAA Members Star Party at the Arthur Pursell Observatory (APO).

The National Weather Service currently forecast “Cloudy with chance of showers and thunderstorms” this evening. ClearDarkSky.com: shows cloud cover between 6-11 PM tonight at 20-40% to complete Overcast. Sorry to say this, but with the clouds and a possibility of thunderstorms this evening, it’s a NO GO for tonight

The Tulare Astronomical Association’s monthly “Members Only” Star Party on April 11, 2026 (weather permitting) from 6-10 PM at the Arthur Pursell Observatory (APO). Allows old & new members alike to meet, catch-up, show-off new equipment, swap stories, and share their love of Astronomy together.

There is a restroom at our facility. Dress appropriate for the weather, bring water and a chair if you want to sit.
