Public Star Party on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the APO

The TAA is having a public Star Party on Saturday,  February 17, 2024.  The gates will be open at 4:30 pm with a program on the night’s viewing targets at 6:00pm.  We will then go outside for a night of viewing the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn, plus Planetary nebulas.  The event will conclude around 9:00pm. The cost is $5.00 per person over the age of 12.  There is a restroom on site.  So dress warmly and come on out to our observatory for a fantastic evening of viewing the heavens.  This event is dependent on the weather being clear,  check this website on the event date to see if it has been cancelled due to clouds.
