DESCRIPTION:\nThe Tulare Astronomical Association is hosting it’s Autumn Public Open House & Star Party on October 17, 2026 (weather permitting) from 4-9 PM at the Arthur Pursell Observatory (APO). Tours of the APO’s 12.5 inch telescope in our observatory dome & our multifunction classroom.  There will also be members telescopes setup for the public to view the sun, moon, & planets.\nThere is a restroom at our facility. Bring water and a chair if you want to sit.\nAdmission to this event is free.\nPlease check Events Archive – Tulare Astronomical Association for last minute changes & cancellations to events due to weather conditions.\n
