Public Stargazing at the Arthur Pursell Observatory

Join the Tulare Astronomical Association (TAA) on January 24, 2015 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm for an evening of public stargazing.  The event will include a short program on astronomical objects of interest, a tour of the brighter constellations, and viewing through TAA’s 12″ Astrola reflecting telescope (inside the observatory dome), and other member telescopes. The cost is $5 per person, which helps us maintain the observatory and grounds.  Dress warmly and bring your own seating and refreshments (pleaseno alcoholic beverages on the observatory grounds).  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you would like to support the TAA, you may do so by becoming a member, or by making a cash donation.  Please see the website for more information.

Hope to see you there!

(NOTE:  If you plan to attend this event, please check our website by 5:00 pm the day of the event for possible cancellations due to weather.)
