Membership in the Tulare Astronomical Association is not restricted. If you have an interest in astronomy and want to learn more about it, you should be a member. You do not have to have a telescope. In fact, you should join the club first and use other members scopes before you buy your own. That way you will find out what type of scope fits your style of observing. Our membership fee helps pay our expenses. Without membership fees and donations we could not exist as a club. The TAA is a nonprofit, charitable organization. We depend solely upon donations from individuals and annual membership dues to cover our expenses. All donations are tax-deductible.
