For those not -in the know-, TAA provides free public viewing opportunites. Friday night is one of them. This is a great time to see several planets.
Neptune, (if the sky gets dark enough, early enough), Uranus, Venus, and Jupiter.
The moon will also be about 1/3 lit, which makes for some great viewing
It is possible that there could also be a solar scope available for anyone arriving early, (let me know if there any interest in that)
location is found elsewhere on this site
Come one, come all.

Well, Mark D and I showed up for the evening’s viewing, but conditions were not the best, so we were forced to cancel. Skies were partially clear, but the humidity was very high and dew on the optics was a real problem. After breaking down Mark’s scope (I never did set up) we adjourned to Denny’s for coffee and brews
.
What time were you guys there? Olivia and I showed up about quarter to 7. I swear it was clear when we left the house and was clouded over 10 minutes later!
