Eclipse Lunar

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes completely through the Earth’s dark shadow, or umbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will gradually get darker and then take on a rusty or blood red color.

This eclipse will start before the moon rises in the central valley. The sun sets at 6:46 pm. The moon will rise at sunset . This means that the first part of the eclipse will be seen during twilight. Totality will be after twilight.
