A big THANK YOU to Troop 251

It has been quiet this summer at the APO. Still, things are getting done at the observatory. On July 11, the Boy Scouts of Troop 251 came out to the APO and spread bark on the East and South sides of the observatory grounds. The temperature was in the low 90’s.  By the end of the day the boys were covered with dirt and sweat.

The Boys did a great job! They never complained about the heat or the dirt.

I also want to thank Beth Koenig for supplying the boys with shade, water and food. Gerry Koenig organized the event
