TAA hosts party for DASH Physical Therapy

Last Wednesday, the TAA hosted a private party for DASH Physical Therapy employees. The event was held at the newly renovated Arthur Pursell Observatory. Kimber and her husband Jason BBQed try-tip steaks. We also had green salad, potato salad and bread and drinks. It was all delicious!

More work done on the observatory

Last night Dean Martin, Tom Logan, Butch Demmers and myself, went out to the observatory to finish spreading the bark we had left. We also cut weeds, and cleaned the sidewalks and pads. Butch filled in a giant hole in the wall, between the Astro Physics Center and the restroom. It has been there for years, letting in all kinds of bugs and other creatures into the restroom.… Read the rest

The Arthur Pursell Observatory is now open for club business.

The TAA held their monthly meeting, at the newly refurbished Arthur Pursell Observatory, Wednesday night. This was the first time the observatory’s, Stan Manro Astro Physics Center, had been used for a meeting since 2004. Greg Eckes opened the meeting with a photo presentation of the APO’s renovation project. The club spent the last five months cleaning, and painting the  Astro Physics center.… Read the rest
